Misha Julia Karpinska

Mechanical Lead, Graphical Design Lead

Misha likes dragons. Dragons, robots, and fish. Her mission? To pilot a giant underwater sea-dragon robot that saves the oceans. In a more practical world she hopes to explore the oceans with what she learned in Mechatronics Engineering and make her cosplaying that much more exciting. And yes, she made the scissor-blade.

Amanda Lau

Electrical Lead, Mechanical Support

Amanda is a fan of simple things in life, such as cake, books, building things, and pretending to challenge people to fight. She likes robotics, controls, and programming, and hopes to one day have a swarm of tiny robots to do her bidding.

Robbie Lowles

Software Lead

Robbie likes words a lot. So much, that he wrote all these words, among other things. The potential to do some image processing and database design is what drew him to this project. He likes backend coding, writing, and theatre.

Faye Zhang

Firmware Lead, PM

Faye chose Mechatronics at the University of Waterloo because of the giant robots fighting giant monsters film, Pacific Rim. She hasn't built any giant robots yet, but she hopes that it's in her future. For now, she's happy with programming smaller machines.
